What is Grammarly?

Grammarly's writing app makes sure everything you type is not only correct, but also clear and easy to read. 

Grammarly's algorithms flag potential issues in the text and make context-specific suggestions to help with grammar, spelling and usage, wordiness, style, punctuation, and even plagiarism.

How to sign up

To sign up for a University College Birmingham Grammarly account (premium edition), follow the instructions below:

1. visit grammarly.com/enterprise/signup
2. Provide your name, student or staff email address (ABC12345678@student.ucb.ac.uk or Jbloggs@ucb.ac.uk) and set up a password.
3. Check your inbox for the verification code and enter it in the box provided on the signup page.

Using Grammarly

In addition to the online Grammarly Editor, Grammarly also offers a free browser extension for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, which corrects hundreds of types of errors.
